Safe number I missed the call but I believe it was the NHS. After looking at the stats on this and other sites, I decided to ring the number back. The automatic answer mentioned the NHS website and the initials of a local healthboard. For me it was a callback from 111.

SCAM call. Claims to be Amazon prime. Taking 300 now and 1200 later. I received numerous calls from this this week. 9am 10am noon 5pm. Not All different numbers but this one not found on any who called me site. I leave all calls now to go to ansaphone as am sick to death of them all. If it's not amazon it's loft insulation or domestic appliance cover . The latter also a complete and utter nuisance. If all these callers actually got themselves proper jobs the country might not be in the mess it's in.

This is a scam. Automatic woman's voice says your Amazon Prime has expired and to rejoin to pay £95.00 She says to press 1 to rejoin, or 2 for customer services. As I do not use Amazon this made me aware it's a scam and terminated the call and dialled 147 to find this Bournemouth number had registered as the caller.

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. This number is used by scammers. My experience is that they advised me that my PayPal account had been used suspiciously, and invited me to call this number and get the supposed transaction cleared. What made this so dangerous, was the fact that they used the Paypal site giving this number to contact to resolve the problem. Very cute, they nearly caught me, but they asked too many questions about bank accounts, which set the alarm bells ringing. Asked why, the call was terminated.

Indian accent claiming to be EE running a promotion. He ask for some pretty personal information. Name, address etc things EE should already have on file. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.
