Claimed to be about an accident I had had; they had the date and the name of my insurance company. It was only because the person sounded so unprofessional that I questioned her; turned out to be a complete scam. They claimed I was owed money even though I've been paid. Don't give them your bank details!

They phoned me a few minutes ago. The woman on the other end of the line knew my name, but asked to me confirm it. Then she went straight into her bullsh!t spiel:- "Our records show that you ve done industrial work in the past. Is that true?" Needless to say I ve never done any so-called "industrial work" in my entire life. So, the whole thing was just a fishing expedition. You know the really annoying thing? This is a SCAM. They called me pretending to be Sky and asking about my broadband. I work in IT so my knowledge is quite broad. What they try and do is get you to visit a website that enables them to take over your machine. They then hold you to ransom to "fix" (release) your machine. Avoid at all costs. Just put the phone down.
