SCAM I have had three calls from this number today, and at least that number over the last few weeks. It purports to be from amazon, and opens by congratulating me on my amazon purchase. It goes on to say " if you did not make this purchase.......". I cannot say what the remainder of the message is, because at that juncture I terminate the call. The offending number is 07388730907; it is registered in the Russian Federation, and I can think only that it is an attempted scam.

Had 2 phone calls from this number at the same time each day and panicked as this is the area in which my family live (Altho i do not talk to any of them due to a fall out some time ago) So straight away i started panicking!!! and plucked up the courage to call back as i thought something maybe wrong, To be told its something called PRA UK!!! Had a missed call from this number-seeing it as a local area code I called back, and had a recorded message saying PK Legal have tried to get in contact, and to contact them via a post to Bury...... I decided to also dial 1471 and said the number that called was 0161 814 7885...so called that...and it was the same recording from "PK Legal"!!!! Ghosting phone numbers is crafty- make you more likely to answer as your local code used... Sounds like a SCAM!

Don't speak when answered and numerous calls from same number at same time using clogging up all lines so no one else can ring in, meaning our customers get sent to voicemail. Have emailed 118-online [who's website seems a bit dodgy] and had assurances that our number[s] are taken from their list, but that obviously has not happened. So OFCOM here we come.
