These inconvenient calls have started again after being quite for two or three months. They generally occur after 09:00 hrs. or about midday, I suspect to catch unwary pensioners or mum at home. I m either in the bathroom or eating my lunch, so I don t answer, my answer phone will filter it, or my printer is on the fax will entertain them. JB

Had missed call from this number. Caller left no message. When I tried to call it back I got engaged tone for two beeps then the line went dead. Repeated attempts to call it produced same result. Number keeps calling. so I called it back again from a landline and this time got "You were called by RAR Marketing"

This is a company trying to get you deals with pension scheme or other. I didn't let the caller finish what they had to say, not interested. They clearly don't listen and tried to call me again a day or two later so they are now blocked from calling me

It is a company that is hired by a number of charities or companies that ask for donations. On this site people have been asked for breast cancer and kings college. For me it was for the samaratins and they called because I made a donation in the last year. I was not bothered by them...I am happy to donate to charity.

Just had a call from a foreign sounding lady who said she was Sophia phoning from Talk Talk who had noted suspicious activity on my internet over the past few days and I had been hacked. I told her I was not with talk talk and the line went back to a dialling tone! I guess if I had been with TalkTalk I might have been asked to do something - and most probably would have been hacked!
