Repeatedly cold calls me as a professional sounding personal banking advisor with Lloyds to discuss my future goals Ive said I have nothing to talk about to them but the same person keeps calling and leaving messages Very odd
Called about a recent accident I had, pushing me to make a claim despite no injuries. Told the guy I wasn't interested, after a couple of times he seemed to accept at the same time I hung up. Not overly pushy, just trying to do his job I guess. The main thing that annoyed me was that I asked if was appointed by either the 3rd party's or my own insurance he told me neither, he got my details from some accident database.

Fraud A banking scam - purporting to be TSB and checking fraudulent transactions. Almost convinced us to give standing orders and direct debit details, and had confirmed a couple of transaction. This number texted me over Whatsapp, apparently by accident. Shared some pics of an asian girl, stated she is from Singapore, living in Poland. Asked for pictures of myself, and was overly friendly. Refused to talk over video. So, yeah, many red flags.

64057 is the number to text to STOP reciving messages from We Buy Any Car.com On my network, O2 this is rated as a premium rate number/service so I was charged 13p to opt out. I dont know if other mobile providers recognise this number as a premium rate number or not. WBAC stated that they operate this as a free service and the cost charged is from O2 in my instance. I know its not a biggie - but strange to be charged.

This us a scammer. Wife just had this message. Our daughter is with her and our son is with me. The message is “Hey Mum, I broke my phone today, please message me on this number 447706598749 urgently x im texting of a friends phone.” Scam!!!
This call came to a BT landline number. On trying to trace it I was told it is non existent! Therefore it has to be a scam and a potentially dangerous one too.
