I was called on this number at 9.30am today advising me that my Amazon order had been charged to my credit card. I may be wrong but I am not aware that Amazon had opened a depot in Orpington-tried to call the number back but it was blocked. Yet another scammer preying on people. What can be done to close these scams down-surely BT or OFCOM must be able to trace the number to an address and the take action against them.

What makes them different from other scammers is that they do actually have their own, legitimate looking office and have an access to some properties, but don't be fooled, they never mean to rent it to you.
