I know this is bs and decided today to have a nice long conversation with them about my background in networks engineering and how I know it is bs, but I understand that the guy on the other line is only doing his job and reading a script and that if he doesn t get abusive with me we should be able to resolve this. My mum-in-law received a call from this numbe, informing her that i should contact BT as the wanted to talk to me urgently. It was an automated voice. Im in Australia currently & she's in UK. I am job hunting & it seems they have somehow gotten details.
They have never got any further than the answer machine, they they are always silent - if rung back to see who/what they are - it is so distorted and accented that it sounds like a drunk Chinese robot. Now blocked.
