decided to call the number and a recorded message told me there was nothing to be concerned about as it was just a sales/marketing call. I was then given the option to opt out by pressing 9, which I did, there was no sign to say whether or not my request had been successful. I was also informed that I could opt out of all such calls by registering with TPS, which I did a long time ago. At least with this caller they did not withhold their number, unlike numerous others.

Would love to know who they are so I can start calling them for no apparent reason repeatedly. I ve been registered with the TPS since 2003. I ve called the number back and there s a recorded message. I m not risking pressing any buttons to unsubscribe as I ve heard you can end up on a premium rate line.
