The scam comes when checking some details he wants to know how to spell my surname (it’s not a hard one). I missed the call so rang back, a lady answered within one second and said ‘my colleague was calling regarding the car accident you’ve had recently’ I said I haven’t had a car accident and they just said ‘ok’ and hung up. My number is registered with TPS but because they didn’t say the name I can’t report them.

Not sure about this call that I just took from this number, said it was Kitchen and Bathroom News which as a Kitchen company I do,get this magazine but this is not the telephone number that relates to that magazine. The only question that I found strange was they wanted my mothers birth month. I don t use this anywhere so don t think with this small information they would get anywhere.
