Scammers, trying steal bank account details.

This company has called me several times over a period of months. After the first 3 calls I told them in no uncertain manner that I was fed up with their calls and not to call again. However the same number calls me regularly, despite the fact that I never answer now. Surely this is harassment?

Called me on my mobile and I didn t answer as didn t recognise the number. Looked it up here and saw it might be an Amex number. Called the legit number on the back of my card and they said no, it wasn t them, and they hadn t called me. Beware!

The business directory phones my office about 6 times a day. Most of the time they wait until I answer before they simply hang up. Other times they ask for my company details. They don t even ask if I want to advertise. Despite referring this to their complaint department they still continue to bombard me with calls. This is now harassment

I get calls like this all the time from people claiming to help write off debts. I don t even have any but apparently it pops up that I do.

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. I was called today at 2.46pm by this number. Nobody spoke to me at first but I could hear an asian(?) conversation in the background.I should have hung up but didn t.i said hello and a male said go f*** yourself you f*****g b****[email protected] . Shocked, I said I beg your pardon and he repeated it!! I then heard someone say hang up, I did, but not before I fired off a few choice phrases of my own. I was surprised to see that apparently the call originated in Wolverhampton!!!

Number has called me several times too, on answering it immediately goes dead on ringing back it is blank and then goes dead.

unrecognised international number. Got another earlier from a withheld number with recorded message to say I missed a call from my internet service provider

"Manor Financial", I think. Usual PPI stuff. The chap quickly realised I was deliberately wasting his time, so I only managed to keep him busy for 46 seconds, sorry.

Survey. When I asked what it was regarding he said to see how people were coping with the recession. The questions were related to finance, occupancy of home, insurance, driving habits, employment status so it sort of went with the territory. Wouldn t give a company name though, hence the low score.
