Silent call as soon as I answered it the phone was replaced at the other end. This number is used to make persistent calls across the country.
Internet They told me they were from BT and said I needed to log on to y account so they could verify who they were as they were trying to sort out my account as it had been hacked ?. not a Chance I said asked them for there contact number so I could call them back so I could confirm who they were... they out the phone down on me.

"Bank of Scotland" left concurrently 2 text messages and a voicemail, & phoned from 0333 045 9640. 1st text said "You will shortly receive a text from Bank of Scotland Card Services to confirm recent activity on your card ending xxxx" (the actual numbers on my card). 2nd text said fraudulent purchase of £349 from Apple had been blocked. I attended interview with Irish water on April 2023. I got a call verified my name and disconnected. With Google, I found the landline number belong to Irish Water Leeds office.

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.

Just received a text from this number that began 'Morning Mum...' (I'm not a Mum!) and the text said that they are calling from a friends phone and their battery is about to expire so please call them back. There is no name of either the sender or the friend or the reason why they are calling so I suspect it's a scam. Please be cautious if you receive this message

Scam , says £900 has been withdrawn from my bank through online shopping and asks me to press numbers on my phone to fix it .
Automated call claiming to be Barclaycard saying there were 2 possible fraudulent transactions on my account, checked with Barclaycard and of course it's a scam.
