Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. This person has whatsapped me a few times in the middle of the night just to say hi. I live in South Africa and do not know him at all. Today he whatsapped me again and even called me! I blocked his number and am trying to find out where he got my number from. I definitely do not want to be friends with him.

Call is a recorded message claiming that taxed is owed to the HMRC, but no name/address or other details are given as to who the call is intended for and that if you don't press 1 to be connected to an advisor immediately, then "a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested" - clearly a phishing scam, as even if HMRC notified people about outstanding tax owed by pre-recorded telephone message (they don't), they certainly don't threaten arrest via recorded message and they usually tend

I said no, and the first couple of times, they apologised, but today, just a couple of minutes ago, the guy that I was just speaking to was just a complete A hole, he bloody hung up on me without any explanation.
