Yawn - another cold call from someone whose services I have no interest in. And another cold call from someone when I m on TPS. If I had the patience, I d report the lot of them for breaking the law, but then I d be spending all my time filling in forms with the ombudsman.
SCAM / SPAM usual thing. strong south Asian accented guy called 'paul' told me he was from EDF and clarified that they are my current supplier. then said due to covid they couldn't said engineers out to read meters. 1) I send readings in online. 2) every meter I have seen in the last 25 years is outside. covid becomes irrelevant in this case 3)I have never given reading over the phone. hang up

Claimed to be calling from BT about my internet - even though BT is not my internet provider, she claimed BT provided the infrastructure (but did not mention openreach). Call is a recorded message claiming that taxed is owed to the HMRC, but no name/address or other details are given as to who the call is intended for and that if you don't press 1 to be connected to an advisor immediately, then "a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested" - clearly a phishing scam, as even if HMRC notified people about outstanding tax owed by pre-recorded telephone message (they don't), they certainly don't threaten arrest via recorded message and they usually tend
