Claiming I had a car accident and they can help with the claim, when challenged how they obtained my number (registered on TPS) they became very aggressive and abusive. Clearly they operating some sort of scam. Once you begin to challenge them they shut down they will hang up and place you on hold and refuse to give any credible information which would allow you to then report the issue appropriately to get them shutdown.

This number rings at least once a day and its a nuisance waking me at 8:30 or earlier as I try to convalesce after a hip replacement.This is obviously a known number provided by some telecomms outfit. Is it really beyond the wit of man to shut it down ?. As for the TPS don t make me laugh !!!

After seeing this number repeatedly on my call blocker log over many days I called the number myself as it costs me nothing. I was disgusted to hear a BT recorded message saying that it was from one of their partners and that I MIGHT be able to get removed from the list by calling an 0800 number. About time the regulator came down on the telco providers as hard as they say they are on other nuisance callers!.
