We have been receiving a large number of calls since last Wednesday from various scared and vulnerable people thinking this is true. We have now had to change our phone number to stop the calls. As above an Indian chap who said that his name was Jasper, we sometimes get called 20 times a day, he says that he is from Microsoft calling as they have noticed some issues with my operating system. I let him go on for a while, he wanted me to sign in and let him take control of my pc, I then said that I was a licensed Microsoft engineer and the line went dead immediately.

Just had a call from them (again!). Each time, they show a slightly different number, so I have to add a new number to my blocked list. A quick tip for iPhone users: just press one of the volume buttons. It stops ringing for you, but not for them.
