This is one of many numbers on a scam/spam rampage. Ive tracked the number to a street in liverpool, but i m not sure if they are using a proxy or not. I have a name of the operator and told them to take my number off ALL the numbers databases....Short to say I have been phoned a few days later, from the same office or complex. Calling every day not leaving message so cant be very important will try to catch it & put it in my call protect voicemail box,strange that none of the numbers ive put in there so far have left a message.
Call is a recorded message claiming that taxed is owed to the HMRC, but no name/address or other details are given as to who the call is intended for and that if you don't press 1 to be connected to an advisor immediately, then "a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested" - clearly a phishing scam, as even if HMRC notified people about outstanding tax owed by pre-recorded telephone message (they don't), they certainly don't threaten arrest via recorded message and they usually tend
