I managed to keep them on the line for 13 minutes whilst they gave instructions on running EventViewer as "proof" of all of the "Internet viruses infecting my computer" then the LogMeIn account that they would use to install malware on my machine. This is so that I could enter the 9-digit account on the "Abuse" section on LogMeIn.com to get it shut down... very important!

Was cold-called by this no 11.37 today , Monday 2nd July 2018. I put the phone down on them.
They called my Mums land line and asked if she's a missing person.
as it was a local number appearing on the display I answered. It turned out to be a call centre with a young lady with a southern accident telling me I'd had a minor car accident recently! I Immediately disconnected.

Spoke to an Indian man, who was concerned I'd downloaded many viruses over the last 3 months. I knew immediately that it was a scam, so wasted his time by "turning my computer on" very slowly and (very pleasantly) asking him plenty of questions about where he was calling from, why he was phoning on a bank holiday (to which he replied "I'm not calling from a bank) etc. He clamed he was based in Westminster and said his phone number was 0203 ........ Got bored of the poor quality phone line after a while and
