Any ideas? Seems an odd number . I don t answer numbers I don t know but this one has intrigued me.

Another unknown number, one and a half rings at 1730, I wouldn t have answered anyhow, as I was in the bath. But I will of course block the number as, I stopped working in Crewe over four years ago, so there is no reason for anyone in Crewe to be calling. Also no message left.

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. Persistant junk calls from Orange. Call several times per day but never leave a message. Answer the phone with hello & then leave them hanging when they ve started their spiel. That way you waste their time too.

Said she was calling from a concert company but then went on to say she had just been informed that I d been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault. Ignore!

Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

Phone rang, no answer the other end apart from a beep, then the caller hung up. Sounds automated. This number going on the blocked list.
