SCAM Purporting to be a bank card fraud department. The guy had an Indian accent... and I do not use the bank that was mentioned, so I put the phone down. The ONLY fraud was the caller. No doubt they would have been asking for all sorts of things - DO NOT give them any information whatsoever.

SCAM Called to say my home appliance cover will be discounted. Gave the name of Chris Jones and a contact number of 08007789104. Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. Strange - got a call from this number which I answered. It was silent at first then after a few seconds I could hear background noise then it cut off. Called back from a separate withheld number and just get a message that says Thank you. Press 1 to remove your number then hangs up, so none the wiser as to who it is or why they called.

Several missed calls from this number, finally picked up and they wanted to to to sell me car insurance for Call Connections or something like that. When I told them I wasn t interested and asked for them to drop my number they just hung up!

Indian Call Center, 02088943604, in your ear kind of call about mobile phone deals, told her not interested, asked her to remove my number from the list and she hung up, before I hunged up. Lesson Learned simply hang up on them. About time the governments and phone operators stopped these kind of calls, SPAMS and FRAUD are No.1 crimes.

Automated voice saying that I would be arrested for fraudulent activity to do with my national insurance number. They wanted me to press 1 to speak to an officer - I chose not to because I was concerned I would get charged. When the message ended, the call ended. Definitely Fraud/SCAM.
