Strange - got a call from this number which I answered. It was silent at first then after a few seconds I could hear background noise then it cut off. Called back from a separate withheld number and just get a message that says Thank you. Press 1 to remove your number then hangs up, so none the wiser as to who it is or why they called.
Likewise, I received a call from this number today. I didn't answer it and they left no message. Sounds like it is probably ppi related spam?

"Asian" voice saying from Talktalk wanting to check your router....This is a scam trying to empty your bank account............just hang up on them.
SCAM Attempted to gain personal information about me pretending to be from carphone warehouse. When I asked for more details about the information about me they gave up and ended the call.

Called from this number -- long pause before a woman (don t think it was automated because there was background noise) said something about Motor Satisfaction Surveys Opt Out that I d apparently contacted them about (which I haven t) and told me to ring some number which she read out so fast I couldn t catch it. My son stupidly answered some questions about bitcoin and now they’re bombarding him with phone calls, you block one number so they use a different number.
Keep calling even tho I didn t answer, when the son accidently answered cos I wasn t near the phone he told me who thery were. It is no use you asking/telling them to remove your number because they don t. I actually changed my number for this reason, and guess what? today they tried ringing my new number. It is now set to block and no matter what you tell them they just keep trying.
