These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. I have had endless calls from 0161 and 020 numbers over the past week on my mobile which I have blocked but yesterday 01473671964 and 01473671968 called 16 times on my landline ...

This number keeps on ringing me. The first time I got a call from this number I had my phone on silent as I was at work. When I tried to ring them back it says that it is not a valid number. I have not answered this number since I have no idea who they are and why I cannot call them back. Seems very suspicious to me. If you get one I would advise you do not answer.

Repeated calls to my mobile which have been left unanswered and show as missed call . On the one occasion it was answered, I was offered a free electical assessment which I declined and asked that I would be taken off their call list

This was a scam call from a woman with foreign accent claiming to be from TalkTalk. She cut the call as soon as I challenged her.

"Life Survey, calling from the Uk, a few minute to answer the questions and you won t get nuisance call again." I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. Really bad accent,hard to understand and rude. Hate these calls.
