There is a very strange person... man or woman I’m not sure. They are parading on the dating site Plenty of Fish as a man called Joel, aged 59 (whilst the pictures are clearly of a younger man) who is meant to have a graduate degree and be an engineer working in London. Couldn t give me the first digit og my postcode when they claimed to have my address because of data protection . I told them that having my phone number was already a violation of data protection.
SCAM This looked like a local number BUT it was a recorded message purporting to come from Amazon about a sizeable sum taken from my account for an order and to press 1 if it wasn't me who made the order. Needless to say I hung up without pressing any numbers.
When I answered the call the guy said Hi this is UK Advice Centre, how are you? I asked what the call was regarding and the line was disconnected. Obviously looking for a less inquisitive person!

What a pathetic man, rang me and left a message on my voicemail - I was to ring him: on 01288 354688 or 077788 43932. Banged on about pensions for photographers and he d already worked with a Damian Blackwell? Whoever that it. I told him he was just a sad scammer, he got very shirty. Karma will sort out this evil little twerp. DO NOT BOTHER TO CALL HIM.
Received a text from this mobile number claiming to be First Direct Bank, with a link. Apparently my account has been suspended, tap link to verify activity. I am not with First Direct and why would a bank be texting anybody? These texts with links are designed to trick us into installing scamming software on our phones. Please do not tap on these links. Go to your bank through the normal method to check.
