I will report this to HMRC and the police action fraud website. Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. Clue: You need people at YOUR end to speak to those who pick up. Amateurs!

I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.

SCAM / SPAM usual thing. strong south Asian accented guy called 'paul' told me he was from EDF and clarified that they are my current supplier. then said due to covid they couldn't said engineers out to read meters. 1) I send readings in online. 2) every meter I have seen in the last 25 years is outside. covid becomes irrelevant in this case 3)I have never given reading over the phone. hang up
