Very mumbled message saying from Western Union saying that a large sum , either £400 or £4000 had been taken from my visa account, and to go on to speak to someone by pressing a single digit number, Did not do this a seems odd, and probably a scam. Annoying but probably dangerous.

Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. This number called me to say that my number has been used in a serious number of crimes and my national insurance number will be suspended if I don’t press 1 to talk to someone. This isn’t real as the police would ring me directly or turn up at my house, not use an automated voice message to tell me. I hung up instead of pressing 1.
They texted me as if they were CV library however they tried asking me for my bank account details via a text. This is the text they sent: Benefit and requirement - Work week - 6 days (600USDT) - Only 30-60 minutes of work per day - Flexible hours and location (can be arranged by yourself) - Must be 21 years old or older - Training will be provided - Bank account required for salary purpose Never give any personal information away via text. Always use an official website.

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!
