Man with foreign sounding accent called wanting to speak to the owner of the phone, I said "NO" so he asked if I was a family member, I asked why he wanted to know all this and that he was obviously up to no good and put the phone down. I am registered with the TPS so this call must be one of the "diverts" from outside the UK.. I suspect he would have been calling about internet problems etc. I am fed up of these calls. BT rent these divert lines and so they must know the companies who care allowing these s

these people are a real nuisance, they have various numbers all beginning with 023 or 028 or 027. As far as I am aware no british numbers start with those figures. I had have about 10 calls in two days, blocked two of the numbers but they just use a differ
They called twice today. Within 2 minutes. Plonkers. All I get on my answerphone is two tones. Do they expect me to ring back? As I have an internet phone number, I do not have a handset, It is there for any plonkers to ring. If I need to leave my number to anyone I have not done business with direct then I expect to receive these sh1t calls. That's why I have one of these numbers.

this number called me on my mobile, I rang the number back as it comes under a local area code, connection made without ringing, automated voice repeated several times "your call is important to us, please hold until an operator becomes available" then more music, I held for several minutes before another voice came on and said, "thank you for your call goodbye", the line then went dead !!!! Unsure as to how much this is going to cost me, somewhat concerned now !!!
