I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

This number called my landline on the 10th of December at 11.18 I answered and said "This number no longer receives incoming calls" as I have had calls before from this number and know it is a scam. The number called again and the 11th December 11.31, 12th December 9.53 14th December 16.40 and again 15th December 15.33 again I answered with the message I had said before. getting fed up with it now.

INTERNET SCAM This number from Switzerland called saying that they would cut off my internet if I didn't respond to their technical executive! 4th call today with this internet story. I have been spammed with calls from this company. I had 4 calls in the space of 2 hours while I was in a meeting at work. I finally picked up and told them I m not remotely interested in reviewing my pensions as they are handled through my company and to remove me from their database. They persisted in being very pushy and I hung up. 30 minutes later I received another call from the number and I blocked it.

This number has been calling my landline approx. 7-8 times a day for the past 5 days. I always check 0844 numbers before I answer, so I have been ignoring this once I saw the negative comments left on this site. How can I stop them calling altogether?

Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers.
