Very insistant indian sounding lady, called Rosie ! Claiming to stop all nuisance calls national and international from tomorrow, claimed to be part of TPS ! Wanting verification of who I was by asking for details of my bank card ! Gave me helpline number and address in Central London, 27 Old Gloucester Street, when I informed I thought it was a scam ! Eventually hung up on her as conversation went round and round.

This time got through to someone who I made it very clear to that if these silent calls persisted, they would be reported. SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.
