I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Call showed as INTERNATIONAL despite the London code. Hung up on answer.

It was a callback from a company that replaces carbon monoxide units. 
nI called the 0800 number that was written on the unit, left a voicemail.

Got a call at work for a hair appointment in Derby (approx. 200miles from where I live). Never heard of them but they knew my name and where I worked.

Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.
