Received call claiming to be BT outreach wanting to reset my broadband l hung up but phone out of use ever since "line in use" displayed.
This number called me on 21st April 2021 at 14.36. The woman had a foreign accent and asked if I wanted to extend my washing machine guarantee. I asked her to repeat her question a couple of times, and she put the phone down.

Claim to be one of two Google accredited uk resellers. There is no such thing! They call me every day minimum twice a day except weekends. Whenever I refresh gumtree advert. They hang up as soon as they realise you won t part with money over the phone. Told them I m in the telephone preference service but it makes absolutely no difference, they will call none stop. Received 3 calls today!
Caller rings off when I answer the phone. The number they are calling has been a business line for ten years or more.
SCAMrecorded message stating my national insurance number had been illegally used and to avoid being arrested I must answer some questions by pressing 1 on my keypad. I hung up!

Scam - Voicemail left threatening arrest for tax fraud unless I clicked on 1 to return the call. My phone also didn't ring & I only found the voicemail when it said I had a missed call.

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.
