2 silent calls within 2 minutes - no idea who generated calls, number not recognised by BT

We called and requested some works from them. I m pleased with the results my house Is bright and beautiful again. At first a didn t know what to expect but they Surprised me.

Calls several times a day, every day. Whenever I answer the line goes dead so unable to identify the caller.

Calls everyday at least twice - I have blocked them on my phone, finally, but I still get alerts to tell me when they ve tried to call - When I answered 3 weeks ago they hung up straight away. Do not understand this in the least and should be avoided by all costs - If you have an Android, get Truecaller - You can see the company name and have the option to block individual callers and register them as spam

this number is reliance advisory trying to get info about PPI, but will not remove my details from their system even though I requested this several times. Saying I had made a claim which I have not, saying I have applied for a loan which I have not.

Apparently i was in a car accident.

Scam company purporting to be the Telephone Preference Service and asking for a fee to upgrade.

It s the correct format for a UK mobile phone number, so it could be coming from anywhere. Ignore and/or block it.

Received a call, foreign voice said ringing about accident I d had. They managed to get my name, address and accident details and sent me an email which they wanted me to open and click on the attachment to provide authority for them to send out documents for me to claim compensation. I told them I didn t need to claim compensation as only very minor whip lash, however they were very insistent saying that didn t matter and I was entitled to £3000 compensation. I was a little bored so gave them a fictitious name, a real address, loads of BS about Credit Cards I got; even telling him I d had refunds and my 8% interest too, but he insisted I was still entitled to more. Told me it was no win, no fee but if they did get anything then they got 30% plus VAT; that s 1/3 of the claim. So he took all my details and then passed me through to a colleague who then went through all the same questions again to confirm the details and that I was to sign the forms

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!

This company has called me so many times and ignores my request to stop. Can they be prosecuted or fined for this?

They keep calling me from different numbers, but I block them. They keep leaving an automated computer voicemail. Almost every day they call for a debt that is over 7 years old.
