Getting calls from this number almost daily, and when answered they just hang up - no voice, no message. Have blocked it on my handset but still keeps getting through.

I did not catch the name of the company but they reported Ihad been in an RTA and asked me to confirm. I asked them to confirm the date and they refused so I explained that I had short term memory loss and they would have to remind me when it happened. They put the phone down!!

I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn t met any accident and applying claims. Twitter seems to have had the desired result. Only 1 call since I posted this. The PEST is: Domestic & General :( They are a cold-calling pest phishing for new Loft Insulation contracts. I have automated calls on a daily basis for 2 months now - 3 rings and they hang up - never leaving a message. I wish the government would provide the regulators with some teeth to prosecute all these highly persistent phone pests making MULTIPLE nuisance calls. I changed my number relatively recently to avoid this, and I m ex-directory and I ve "opted out" so they should check before they call.
