Claimed to be calling me about a recent accident. Absolute rubbish
Automated caller: Said there had been illegal activity on my internet and it will be disconnected shortly, unless I contacted my provider. I was then asked to press the number of the person who would deal with the situation. Of which I hung up as was unsure if this was legit or not? but to my knowledge nothing illegal has been happening on my internet, this is very concerning if it is a scam, as this could make some one ill with worry as to what may be happening on the computer with them being unaware!!!!

Claimed to be a “Michael Fernandez” from Windows Technical Department.He told me that there has been a corruption with my computer and that he has to resolve it for me and started to give me directions on where to navigate on my pc. I stopped him and asked what exactly the problem was and he said it was something to do with the RAM and hardware and that if he doesn’t help me it will cause me major problems. Yep Capquest (Arrow finance/pentagon finance/universal credit). This was an old debt from over 15yrs ago which was settle as a CCJ! No idea how they got my current mobile number (i m registered to stop these calls). Keep blocking them but they just use a different number. Not helpful if you do speak to them telling them debt was a settled CCJ either.
