Called from 01245 407320 Unsolicited call from these cowboys today ( 25 Oct 2014). Despite my number being on the TPS, they asked for me by name. My wife wouldn t put the call thru to me until they confirmed what they wanted to ask me about. The caller refused to confirm this, so wifey hung up on them. SCAM - Automated call telling me I had a tax fraud case against my name
Text message from this number saying there was a suspicious log in on my PayPal account from a month ago. Gave me a random website, which was not PayPal, that I had to go to immediately to reset my account. Deleted the text and blocked the number
When I answered they cut me off
Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. I must have had ten calls this last week from a company calling themselves UK Preference. Today s number used was 01612228888. The voice was an Indian male and was very persistent talking over me when I told him to take me off their calling list and to stop calling me. Unknown caller ringing a TPS registered domestic number. No message left. Probably an illicit sales call, a scammer or fraudster, but with no message left stating their business, I don't know.

012 5555 4810 rings me regularly and keeps hanging up, they don’t leave a voicemail either. I no longer answer the landline phone, I wait till calls go into voicemail. I have told friends and family to leave a message and I will pick-up the phone as soon as I recognise the caller or the reason for the call or I will call back.
