This number called this morning so called from BT Openreach advising my broadband is reported to being slow. Scam, bogus caller. Caller was of ethnic origin.
A friendly reminder - your payment didn't go through correctly. Just log in and update your card details, your account will be back in good standing. Thanks! No links in the message but suspicious.

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.
These guys are a pain in the arse it s a company who goes by the name of Extra Energy.
