suspicious message, Pre-recorded message man claiming to be from BT saying that broadband will be cut off in 24hours , unless you press a number or something like that . I have had this call numberous times .

Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.

Probably building to a scam, claimed to be BT a UK telephone provider investigating illegal activity on my internet, when I inquired as to who might be doing illegal things the caller suggested probably foreigners! The call was made at 7am in the morning to a private number, land line and one only known to family members.

SCAM 0141729 8573 After initial silence, caller said his name was John and he was my local energy adviser in my area. I asked where he had got my number from as mine was X-Directory and he shouldn’t have it. As I was asking him to delete it he kept forcibly talking over me. I hung him. Blocked his number with BT. Do not give anyone on this number any information.

Banged on about pensions for photographers and he d already worked with a Damian Blackwell? Whoever that it. I told him he was just a sad scammer, he got very shirty. Just want to ask your 3 questions Sir... So I instead gave him 3 words. I got caught off guard about 3-4 years ago and answered there questions. Fraud - CONFIRMED when I rang the Halifax bank on their 0800 0 15 15 15 phone number. Text purporting to be from Halifax bank, saying that "A new payee has been linked in your app. If this WAS you, ignore this message, if NOT, cancel at Halifax secure-linkuk.com"
This firm leave a message claiming that I "opted into" receiving debt management advice. This is a lie. They are a very dubious organisation as they use an illicit identity and do not conform to recognised data protection or marketing standards.
