Strange - got a call from this number which I answered. It was silent at first then after a few seconds I could hear background noise then it cut off. Called back from a separate withheld number and just get a message that says Thank you. Press 1 to remove your number then hangs up, so none the wiser as to who it is or why they called.

Fraud - spoofed telephone number almost certainly from Indian call centre of fraudsters. Asking if you want your Amazon Prime subscription cancelled otherwise £79 will be debited from your account. You are instructed to go to your computer and press [Windows + R] key and type "anydesk" and press enter. Then you are to search Google for "anydesk". These types of call happen pretty much daily to my BT landline. It is time the telephone companies got a grip and develope

Apparently, my Internet connection is unsecure and they are calling to tell me they will disconnect in 4hrs. When challenged - the lady caller wanted me to push combination of keys on keyboard but by this time I was so frustrated that she hung up because I must have sounded rude. Called from this number -- long pause before a woman (don t think it was automated because there was background noise) said something about Motor Satisfaction Surveys Opt Out that I d apparently contacted them about (which I haven t) and told me to ring some number which she read out so fast I couldn t catch it. She then immediately hung up. Totally bizarre.
