Beware !! They are scammers pretending to be police, saying my national insurance number and bank account were compromised and tried to instruct me to download Revolut to protect my savings !

Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.
Called me on my mobile and I didn t answer as didn t recognise the number. Looked it up here and saw it might be an Amex number. Called the legit number on the back of my card and they said no, it wasn t them, and they hadn t called me. Beware!

Apparently, my Internet connection is unsecure and they are calling to tell me they will disconnect in 4hrs. When challenged - the lady caller wanted me to push combination of keys on keyboard but by this time I was so frustrated that she hung up because I must have sounded rude. She wanted to show me why/how my connection was insecure. -Didn't give her the chance - being described the CTRL / ALT / DELETE buttons as though I'm a child is not acceptable. The business directory phones my office about 6 times a day. Most of the time they wait until I answer before they simply hang up. Other times they ask for my company details. They don t even ask if I want to advertise. Despite referring this to their complaint department they still continue to bombard me with calls. This is now harassment

I said we don t have one he then asked about life insurance and I said my husband deals with that he then ask about home insurances where I said I look around for cheap deals my self and then he said he would update his records and said goodbye. It could be a company that searches for deal or This could be a way to get you details so could be dangerous so be be careful and think twice about giving

They asked me when I last took a personal loan out with and who with and would ring me back in half a hour. Oh and he already knew my name.
They called me while I was driving, so didn't pick up BUT they called 6 times over a period of 15 minutes! The voice mails was from a indian gentleman but I was unable to understand what they waned.
Caller had Indian accent (even though this code is for the UK) and informed me that she was calling from BT and my internet connection was going to be cut off in two days. Why can t BT investigate
