Suspected Indian call centre Scammer! When I subsequently tried to call the number back it was not valid.
Received a text message claiming to be about Avon saying they are recruiting etc. Want you to reply STOP to unsubscribe
I answered the phone, silence, then a recorded message said they were RMG and they could not connect me to one of their advisers at the moment, If I wish to call them back then they would connect me to an adviser. Obviously a "sales call" trying to get me to part with my money. Conclusion: Illegal activity.

They call through the exchange using a local number so the number changes
I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything. I did contact my bank and various other bodies but no success. They were no where to be found. It angers me how they have managed to rip people off and get away with it so easily. Think it’s a SCAM but didn’t listen for long enough to be 100% sure. An extremely thick accent that couldn’t speak very good English claiming to be from BT talking about problems with Internet access and slow connection.
Recorded message told me i can claim for ppi insurence even if i have never had a bank loan seems very unlikely so will not persue.
Silent caller - answered phone at 14.24 heard just background switching noises - obviously an auto - dial system which is supposed to switch you to a call handler once you speak.
