Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. I returned to Johnny and advised this, to which he said "did you tell him it s a financial matter?". I responded, "No, because you didn t say it was. But he won t take the call". Didn t wait to be asked about what they were selling but looked it up - yet more PPI. Told the first person that I wasn t interested and to take a hike, he then got his supervisor to call and he demanded to know the reason why I wasn t interested - what part of the words "I am not interested and take my name off your calling list" did they not understand?
