SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Since discovered they are called Trust money so decided to give them a taste of their own medicine and I call 0141 305 3045 and press one and then go silent when they take my call, Churlish I know but I get about 5 of these type calls a day !!!! Very rude and vague. The caller claims that is from PTI, but he doesn t want to go into more details abut the reason of calling. He insists on being put through the Managing Director. If you ask more questions regarding the company he is calling from he hangs up.
