SCAM 01227631995 - had a call from this number claiming to be from Amazon regarding a Gift Casrd purchase for £49+ made supposedly by me from an address in London. Having never bought a gift card nor having anything to do with this address I told the caller so, and also said that this is a scam call, to which he hung up. I have had several similar calls to this one for varying amounts and each time I am quoted the same London address. Clearly this is a scam and should be avoided at all costs.

Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. Caller says he can appeal our business rates and save money. Howver a google search shows Melville consulting is a scam operator that lodges the appeal online, which anybody csn do, thrn charges £700 after which they do nothing. Same phone number also brlobgs to Webster and Long. Avoid. In most cases there is no chance of rates reduction. Its easy to check on .gov site the rates details for your property.
