This number is a scam. They are pretending to be from the Tax OFfice. Hang up immediately otherwise you will be charged for a prmium rate number if you accept the call.

Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

Fraud: Claiming to be the UK Refund Department, telling me my name and number have been listed as due a PPI refund of nearly £4,000. When I tried to stop her talking and explain that I am not entitled to PPI refund, having never had PPI, she continued to reel off her blurb. Got a call today saying they are from a Technical computer company and there was some activity on my computer that needs to be addressed.
I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager. The Manager was very polite with me and advised if i wished to submit a SAR then to Email ReactivMedia.co.u
