This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks. Today at 10.30 am I received a call from a man who with-held his number requesting to speak to me by name and I replied to him not known .He was very rude and did not introduce himself when I asked who is speaking. Person called asking me what knickers I was wearing. They were breathing quite heavily so I assumed they had a cold. Anyway, I told them I don't wear any knickers. I then heard some grunting noises and shortly after the caller hung up. Very strange. Never mind, I hope they get well soon! X

Alleged to be a number dealing with BT problems with scammimg emails/broadband, but when I asked for details of the address to verify their information they gave the wrong/incorrect address for me, which showed they were not from BT.

Placed order with AO for a new fridge freezer, this number was calling within ten minutes of placing it. It would be nice to receive the product first! Didn t answer it, never answer anything from anyone I don t recognise or unknowns. If its that important people WILL leave a message, number now blocked based on the comments on here from others

Rang my home no today, no message left. I rang back, automated line says “This is Guys & St. Thomas Hospital. Don’t worry, we’ll call you back - if it’s urgent”. What?! First they send me a letter last week (3 pages!) to say I don’t fit their criteria for dental treatment, then they phone with this. I assume I’ll never get a return call as they already think I’m not urgent enough to treat anyway!

These people have been calling every day twice a day, despite having spam blocker they still get through! It s becoming VERY annoying.
