Fraud. Supposedly from my bank to inform me of suspicious transactions on my account and to ring a number to confirm it was not me.
Calls every day after picking up puts the phone down. Its getting little bit annoying tbf.
Asian woman called saying she was from Virgin media. Told her I was busy and the line went dead. Have rung virgin Media and it isn't them.
I have had a call from this number as I do not know it I let the answering machine get it, as soon as the announcement started the caller hung up. When I dialled the number back using 141 to block my own number the call was not picked up. I suspect a call centre of some form possibly phishing. Also had a missed call from 02089022545 which I assume is the same outfit. If genuine reason for call, why not leave a message?

SCAM Some random guy called saying he was from the Covid vaccination line, he addressed me by my first and surname then asked if i had been vaccinated. All i said was "well if you're calling from the vaccination team you should know if i have been vaccinated or not" so he hung up!

The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.

Couldn't make out the company they claimed to be from, was very noisy but sounded like a foreign call centre. When I repeatedly but politely asked them to confirm who they were calling from and not getting it I was called a "stupid person". I asked whose name was on the account as he said it was my name. I asked again whose name and he said D Maddison. When I say they don't live here he hung up. Obviously has some old phone records.
