I rang them back with fack name they sujested so i went with it, was on the phone for 21mins before they noticed i was wasting their time. The already had this Sam fellows details on file so i asked if they had big breasts and no the number is off line

Called this morning just before 8.30 am. As the number was unrecognised it was allowed to go to the answering machine. The call was terminated almost immediately.

I went on line to find landlord ins and said no to be contacted by anyone but within a few minutes they started calling and haven t stopped - very agressive - I have blocked them from my mobile now.

Had a call from 07894865338 from someone asking for me by name and claiming to be from the Citizens Advice. I thought he was saying he had been contacted because I had reported a dead person, I asked him to repeat it, which he did. His accent was very thick and from seeing this site I think he was trying to say I had reported a debt problem !!! He hung anyway...

They rang me, I answered then they ended the call straight away before speaking.

Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I am surprised nobody else has clicked on to this yet......Doesn t sound too dodgy to me. Obviously Adrian has opted for no marketing calls from Carphone Warehouse themselves. A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.
