Apparently from BT advising there were "irregurlarities" on my network and that they would disconnect me unless I pressed "1" for instructions. Almost certainly a scam so I declined the invitation.

This is a Somerset Highways telephone number. If you have made a comment, or complaint, about a road or pavement, either by email, letter or telephone, this is the generic telephone number they will call you back on. They did telephone me back later the same day. No good trying to call them back, it is not a manned line.

The advisor said they take on personal injury claims (only the minor discomfort kind). Put me through to their internal solicitors. I confirmed the accident details and was told to sign documents that will be sent by email. Got around to the signing a few days letter and was told my claim will now be processed. SCAM CALLER they say they are calling from your internet supplier and ask you to download a new programme - ask them to tell you YOUR name if they are calling from your provider they will know your name as their customer. They have called me three times now (once at 7am this morning!) they said I'm calling from your technical team as you are having issues with your internet - just follow my instructions and ....
