Received a phone call saying that he worked for windows and that a large number of logged reports of potential threats to my computer had been received by them and they were phoning to try and sort it out. Like the person before he gained access to my computer and said that windows defender was out of date and needed to be updated at a cost of £150. Total scam - do not even speak to these people.

Today, the american accented voice was identified as 'Shirley' professing to be from our internet provider and saying that our computer had been 'compromised' from various countries and they needed to access our router to 'sort the problem'. At that point I ended the call and added the number to our list of blocked callers.
