Called my mobile at 18.01 on a bank holiday. Rejected call. Muffled and unclear voicemail left sounding like they were saying maybe the name of who was calling me. They obviously don’t listen properly to realise it’s the voicemail recording talking not an actual person!SCAM

Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. We were awaiting a phone call from our GP. This number rang and when we called back it said there would be a charge to connect if we dialled 3. The number was dead!!! We can only hope we have not been charged.

I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know.
