if its not a scam then how did they get my house number and my name as these are protected under the data protection act and i have no debts so why do they keep ringing me and will not give me details ?

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. They said they are from vodafone, I have asked them few questions to confirm if they really have access to my account and it s not legit, it s a scam people.

Called me on my mobile and I didn t answer as didn t recognise the number. Looked it up here and saw it might be an Amex number. Called the legit number on the back of my card and they said no, it wasn t them, and they hadn t called me. Beware!
