The person on the other end told me they were ringing to review my mortgage. When I told her I was uncomfortable discussing it over the phone, she got aggressive and rude. She told me my husband had requested a callback which I knew was a lie because he doesn t deal with this stuff over the net or phone!! when I said that he wouldn t have requested a callback she was really abusive and before she could hang up I told her how rude she was!! Fuming!

Just got *another* phone call from this company. I use TPS, but it clearly makes no difference. Am sick of having answerphone filled up with this nonsense.
The clue is in the number. Apart from inner city London, when last I looked, all UK numbers begin with 01. Clive, Peter, Brian Stephen etc are NOT popular names in India as these people would have you believe. The bottom line is a simple one, if you don’t recognise the number, don’t answer. There’s no such thing as a free lunch

I answered and didn t speak (my usual gig on mobiles too, when called by an unknown or unrecognised number); a man s voice said "hello, hello, hello..." then "la la la la" then hung up. Poor thing, must be driven mental by people who answer but don t engage...about time the worm turned? This line is new, ex-directory and only my Dad & Stepmum have this number. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036349xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, Claims Company, insurance marketing, RTA. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Ignore this number. I ve never heard of Next Step Money but he asked for me by name so I asked him who he was. Told him I was not interested and hung up - no idea who they are and never heard of them before but 99% sure it s either a scammer or someone trying to steal my identity. Avoid talking to them
